The protests reminding us of the crazies the Democratic Party are welcoming into their big tent. Just this week, Pennsylvania Congresswoman Madeline Dean was defending the DSA, saying this, quote, We don't have crazy far leftists.

Maybe you remember when I came in in 2018, there were those that they named the squad. And you know what happened to members of the squad? Many of them went on to be very valuable members of Congress, and many of them wound up not staying in Congress. People learn, people moderate. I'm far less worried about some person who espouses some DSA title winning and coming into our caucus than I'm worried about those who are in the Republican caucus.

You know, I think it's fair that we're talking so much about Zoran Mamdani because Zoran Mamdani is sort of the leader of this left flank of the Democrat Party. And whether they like it or not, whether Harold likes it or not, They are the where all the energy is in the party. And you have a guy who is very successfully made things like Palestine, the centerpiece of their party's agenda.

When you have him as mayor of New York City threatening to arrest. Bibi Netanyahu when he comes to the UN. What in the world does any of that have to do with running the city of New York? And I don't think that I don't think that it ends well in the long term. But for right now, it's a problem that the Democrats are going to have to grapple with within the party. And then you have somebody like Congresswoman Madeline Dean talking about how, oh, this is not that big of a deal. They're going to moderate themselves.

This is what happens when you get this time in a campaign. I remember, and I said on the show a week or so ago, when Republicans were able to went back the majority in 2010. There was a bunch of Tea Party candidates, too, I don't think represented. Their ideas were not the ideas of the Republican Party at the time, but they helped Republicans gain a majority. And they never ascended to any of the chairmanships. Madeleine Dean is exactly right. I mean, the squad and some of that energy in the party, there's no doubt we give them a lot of oxygen. We hear from them a lot.

But the chairs of all the committees, Adam Smith from Washington, who would chair the Armed Services Committee, is no DSA-er. Jamie Raskin, you won't find a greater support of Israel in the United States Congress than Jamie Raskin, who would chair the Judiciary Committee. So there's no doubt we live in a time where the kind of the margins in both parties They're loud and they are sometimes obnoxious and objectionable, but they're not going to be the leaders. Now, I will say this. I was surprised that the young man from Michigan, Mr. Elsey, I cannot answer that question with a simple yes.

I don't quite understand it. I don't understand how if you are nominated member, A nominated person for Congress is a Democrat. And you choose to take a picture with a guy that said America got what it deserved on 9-11. I've said it. I will continue to say we must distance ourselves from these people if we want to be taken credibly and seriously. And if some of these people do win in the Congress and I've said that woman who the young lady who was arrested, the Congress, she's one of seven Democrats who are nominees for Congress.

So if all seven of them win, and remember, they beat, most of them beat Democratic incumbents. Those are safe Democratic seats. So if Democrats win the Congress, the majority, the American people should rest assured in one huge regard, it'll be because Democrats like me, moderates, are winning across the country. And then Greg will make the point, and I will agree with him. Can the moderates block these people when they get in from being the foundational energy of the party from a shaping policy standpoint.

All of those grocery stores have been paying out of their own pocket to cover private security. Since the George Floyd lawlessness, since all of the downtown businesses surrounding the chop zone actually banded together and sued the city of Seattle, desperately begging for some kind of security. And I read the complaint, the first 10 pages of it. We're saying how they identify with the cause and they're so sorry and has nothing to do with race because they were so terrified of being canceled in that ridiculous town. So since then, these grocery stores have to either push the cost onto their customer or eat the loss of their private security.

And what happens? The underperforming ones close. And now what has happened? There's food deserts there in that town. The mayor came out and said that she is going to legislate essentially against grocery stores closing because people like that have no understanding of basic math and also not understanding the communities that rely on things like Walgreens and Bartels and then also these independent small grocery stores. So now you have a bunch of first and second generation Americans. that came over and opened stores that then had to close because they couldn't afford the theft.

They couldn't afford the private security. And then you think about people like David Dorn, who died. He was an off-duty police officer with finding work as a private security guard in the riots that then got killed for it. So this ripple effect now, she's double dipping into tax dollars to pay for the security. Everyone has already fled. And the large companies like Meta and Amazon and Google there in Seattle have... opted not to renew their leases. And they have fled to Bellevue and the outer line areas, because why would you want to stay in a voluntary toxic malignant tumor presided over by this woke, overeducated Upper East Side liberal white woman?

And to your question, did nothing to deserve this. The story is small and it doesn't matter. And it's only hurting themselves, but it got picked up and it went crazy. But it does kind of serve as an example for the consequences of identity politics as a foundation for living a life. Masking wasn't a health practice here. These identities, once they've gotten rid of everybody, like the white people, the straight men, all they have left are themselves and their identities become more granular and the differences become more intense.

So I do call in if my voice is such where I'm like, I'm like, you guys have to hear it because I should not be on air right now. Everything else, we trust each other. And I send an email to be like, hey, this happened or whatever. But really, none of us ever call in. I can't fathom texting anything of importance to a boss ever.
